1956 BSA DB34GS 500cc single cylinder with CB32 swingarm frame. This bike was found in a closed up shop several years ago, it had been sitting since approximately 1972. Missing the tool box, no headlight or tail light, no gages (did it even come with them?), missing side stand. Does have fancy lace painted glass fuel tank and matching Wassel rear fender, Bates solo seat and pillion pad, cool racing throttle and leather throttle hand pad. Engine has LOTS of compression, the shift plate has been reversed so the pattern is 1 up, 3 down. I flushed the engine, trans, tank and cleaned the carb, new oil, fresh fuel, new spark plug and it started and ran great. I have ridden it around the neighborhood a few times, it starts, runs well, and rides, but will need work to be road or race course worthy. A great bike to use for AHRMA racing or for fun, it was used as a desert racer in California from the late 1950s into the early 1970s. I contacted the Goldstar owners club and the engine and frame numbers are in the registry as having been despatched together to Hap Jones in California. This bike is for sale in “as is, where is, conditon”, it did not come to me with a title, I do not believe it was ever titled or registered for street use, so repeat, THERE IS NO TITLE but I had to put something in the title field for ebay to list. Please study the pics and ask questions early. I can provide a bill of sale. I really don’t want to sell it, but I have multiple other projects so here it is. Buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses, but I will assist with loading onto buyer’s or shipper’s truck. No warranty, sold as is, where is. Please ask questions early, I have a very full schedule and sometimes only check messages once per day. $1000.00 Paypal DEPOSIT REQUIRED WITHIN 48 hours of end of auction. Balance of payment by cashier’s check, cash in person, or bank wire transfer. Buyer is responsible for any and all transaction fees, paypal fees, wire transfer fees, etc. Thanks for looking.
